Brow Lamination is the latest brow trend to hit the beauty industry. Beachy, natural, imperfect looking brows - think Perrie Edwards of Little Mix and you'll get the idea.

The Fluffy Brow is a combined treatment of brow lamination and bespoke brow design, colour and shaping: the ultimate brow treatment. Creating a fuller, volumised look for even the slimmest of brows, this is a fantastic treatment to really maximise a natural brow without the need to use make up or permanent make up.

What is brow lamination?

Similar to a lash lift, brow lamination relaxes and smooths the brow hairs and sets them into place by way of a chemical process identical to hair perming. The hair becomes more flexible so that they can be styled into a desired position. They will stay in place wherever you brush then from one day to the next. Your Fluffy Brow Artist will then meticulously map your brows according to your face shape and required look, followed with a tint and wax for the ultimate natural yet fierce looking brows.

How long does it last?

The effects last around 8 weeks. You can continue with your regular brow tinting and shaping services as usual in the meantime although the treatment includes bespoke tinting and waxing.

Who is it suitable for?

This treatment is suitable for anyone - as long as there is natural hair to treat. Even those with permanent make up in the brows can benefit - as long as they are fully healed and there is sufficient natural hair to work with. Those under 18, pregnant, breastfeeding or those with certain medical conditions or allergies to products used in the treatment would be unable to have the treatment.

Things to avoid prior to brow lamination:

No less than:

  • 8 weeks before - permanent make up/microblading

  • 4-6 weeks before - chemical/fruit skin peels

  • 2 weeks before - microneedling

  • 1 week before - dermaplaning

  • 3-4 days before - general exfoliation

  • 48 hours before - sunbeds/sunbathing

Aftercare

In order to obtain the best results from the treatment, the following aftercare is highly advised:

  • Avoid getting the brows wet for 24 hours

  • Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis for 24-48 hours

  • Avoid rubbing the treated area after treatment as this can cause irritation

  • Avoid henna brows for a minimum of 48 hours

  • Avoid applying make up around the brow area for 24 hours

  • If irritation occurs, apply a damp cotton pad to the area and contact us for further advice

  • Most importantly: condition the brows daily using a recommended conditioning serum or oil. A good hair mask can be used when the hair is wet. Wet the brows and set them into place.
