Late cancellations or rescheduling appointments

Cancellations or rescheduled appointments must be made with at least 48 hours' notice. Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled outside of this time will incur a 50% charge of the treatment cost.  Any appointments cancelled on the same day will be charged in full - This applies to everyone without exception. No shows will not be rebooked without full payment upfront.

Refunds are not available due to the fact I offer services that require my time and products. If there is dissatisfaction with the results of your treatment I must be informed immediately to rectify the issue. A full consultation is conducted prior to all treatments to ascertain clients' requirements and manage their full expectations.  


Retail products

Any cosmetic products purchased are non-refundable or exchangeable. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Late and early arrival
In the event you are late for an appointment (through no fault of your own), depending on the treatment booked, best endeavours will be made to continue, but in the event of inadequate time to carry out the treatment, it will need to be rescheduled for another date with the inclusion of a 50% charge for the missed appointment. 

If you turn up more than 10 minutes late the treatment may be refused completely as this will affect any following treatments with other clients. Trends Beauty's working hours are limited so there is insufficient time available to accommodate late arrivals. 


No shows will be not be booked back in unless full payment is received upfront.


If you are the first appointment of the day and you are considerably early, it would be appreciated if you could knock at the door no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. 


It would also be hugely appreciated if clients could knock on the door rather than ring the doorbell. If there is no answer, please call my number and I will let you in.

Method of payments accepted are: 

  • Cash

  • Card

  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

  • Gift voucher (bought from the salon)

Cheques are not accepted


Under 18s

The following treatments cannot be performed on under 18s:

  • LVL Enhance

  • Microblading

Under 16s

Clients under the age of 16 will need parental consent and supervision to have treatments.


Tinting cannot be performed on clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding or under the age of 16.


Patch tests

Some treatments require a patch test 48 hours before. In the event of the HD Brows treatment, a tint patch test is provided to clients. Once applied, this must be monitored over the next 48 hours. If there is any signs of irritation such as itching, burning, stinging, redness, swelling or general discomfort in that area, please notify us as soon as possible. Trends Beauty operates a strict policy regarding patch testing. Patch testing is essential as this is in the interest of safety to the client - protecting against a reaction but also to fully benefit from all of the steps of the treatment. If a positive reaction is experienced, the treatment can still go ahead but without the tinting stage included.  


Other treatments offered that will require a patch test are LVL Enhance and The Fluffy Brow Lamination. Patch tests for spray tans are only required if a client has never had a spray tan or used self-tanning products before or has skin sensitivities to certain skin cosmetics. Please note that although patch tests are generally indicative of a positive or negative reaction, although rare, reactions can still occur even if a patch test has shown a prior negative result. 

Due to insurance stipulations,  children under 12 are not allowed in the salon. There are a few reasons for this; it can be disruptive to clients and I when doing a treatment; there are dangerous tools, sharps and hazardous products and clinical waste present. Most importantly, clients should be able to relax and enjoy their treatment. If a client arrives with their child/children without notice, they will be asked to reschedule their appointment for another time where they can arrange childcare. I cannot be held liable for any incidents or accidents involving children in my salon.


Bringing a friend

It is also politely requested that clients do not bring friends along with them to an appointment without prior agreement with me.

Mobile phones
It would  be appreciated if clients could put their phones down and/or on silent during treatments as often clients will need to be still during specific parts of a treatment. 

Price increases and changes
I aim to give sufficient notice to change my prices from time to time. These price increases reflect inflation rises and my continual professional development and expertise through training to pass on high quality treatments to my clients.
